I think there are pieces from every post before mine that are critical in what should be included. I agree, to an extent, with what all of you have had to say. I think it needs to be improved by management, and to give the company reasons to fund your idea. The proposal should not only include what ks629 and ial4 said, but also a realistic factor. Why is the idea important, and how is it different than other companies. The budget and timeline also have to extensively looked at to ensure projects can be completed in the given set points. It would be better to have “leftover” money and time rather than cost more or extend the timeline.
