At the core of these two terms, “project manager” and “clinical project manager”, the underlying definition is that these two individuals are responsible for the coordinating the different parts of the life of a project team such as,regulatory, design, execution, monitoring, quality controlling. However, while a project manger tends to focus on projects that lead to the commercialization of that particular brand or product, the clinical project manager usually focuses on clinical research projects and makes sure that all protocols used are in compliance with the clinical objective. This job title is present in many different industries such as construction, petrochemical, architecture, information technology.
