If the simulation were to occur within a real industry setting, I believe my group would have been just as successful and efficient as we had been during the simulation. I was pleasantly surprised when I had planned to reach out to my group, just to find that another group member had already initiated before me. All members were prompt in setting up a quicker and better form of communication and set up a time for a virtual meeting. During the meeting, everyone was prepared, and we were able to agree upon a set of changes to the verification procedure quickly. I believe these characteristics would transfer well if this situation were to present itself in a real industry setting. There should be early initiation, as well as the creation of better forms of communication, if necessary. Similarly, every member in the real industry case should also be prepared for the meeting to ensure an efficient and timely correction. Obviously, there would be many differences between the simulation and a real industry situation, but I am confident that my group would have been just fine based on our early initiation and preparedness to tackle the problem.

More so, to touch upon the discussion whether it is better to meet in person versus virtually, I believe this is a perfect case for meeting virtually. Since the meeting is more of a discussion, there is no need for a face-to-face meeting. In fact, there would be more difficulties in planning a face-to-face meeting than a virtual meeting. For example, virtual meetings do not require members to account for travel time or other similar time-consuming activities. In a real industry setting, it is possible that an in-person meeting may be required to conduct the verification procedure, but I strongly believe that doing as much as possible virtually is more efficient.

I would say the face to face meeting is the best option if the work is to be delivered in a timely manner. This allows you to get to the solution quickly and also have an opinion on others perspective if it goes with the project or not. In my group we had to wait for a longer period to get an opinion on a particular issue which made the work to prolong for so long. If there was a face to face meeting we would have got all the required tests in one meeting and could have started individual research on various topics. This might have made the report or a project quick and much clear.
