It provides great insights into your business and in the broader marketplace. Market research can identify how customers and potential customers might view your business and identify gaps in customer expectations.

So I commented on this a few months ago, and I still feel the same way! Researchers need a market because research is crucial for discover which medicines turn out better for patients. It assumes a significant part in finding new medicines and ensuring that we utilize existing medicines in the most ideal manner. An examination can discover replies to things that are obscure, filling holes in knowledge and changing the way that medical services experts work. Without research, we know nothing! Researchers are the backbone of science and data is needed to keep track of findings. Researchers definitely need a market.

Market research is a vital part of any business strategy, whether that business is B2B or B2C, big or small, new or old. It provides the answers companies need to make decisions that will propel them forward instead of back by empowering them to base decisions on data.

Market research is necessary if you have serious intentions of selling a product. Think about a scenario where you reinvent the the toilet. It's better in every way and only slightly more than the conventional cost. However, the conventional design works perfectly fine and has for decades. I would anticipate that a vast majority would not want to adopt a new product when people see no need to innovate their lives. While this is a silly example, the analogy can hold true for a number of products. Market research on the need for your product as well as the demographic that would be interested is vital to your product success.

In what instance do you believe a conventional medical device would be preferred over innovation?

@anthonynjit Medical devices involved in surgery have one primary customer: surgeons. Surgeons are skill based professionals that develop procedural techniques based on the device they are using, therefore if the new medical device requires a different surgical technique, though it may be an innovative technology that the developers believe is easier to use, a surgeon may choose to use the conventional version of that device as it is compatible with the surgical technique they are used to. Old habits die hard and many traditionalist surgeons have a harder time adjusting to newer generations of their traditional product. That is why market research and customer analysis is extremely important to ensuring that your new device is truly filling a need, not just creating something new.
