I believe the medical device development course was a great way to give exposure to the industry side of things. I think classes similar to this give the best real life experience in the work field because they are actually applicable. You are definitely more prepared for the real world after taking this course. Also, as someone who is currently working in the industry I can see many parallels in what was taught throughout the class, and I can draw things from experience. Conversely, I was able to learn more in fields such as regulator or manufacturing that I did not know before, because I was strictly in the R&D silo. As another student had mentioned, it would be interesting to see the other projects that were discussed within the class, when handing in the final project of all the documents in the DHF.
