In my opinion, the most important phase to ensure a product's success is the project proposal and inception phase. This phase has a lot riding on it being the moment where all of the plans and hopes for the project are outlined. It is with this phase that the members of the team can come to an understanding and communicate what they want out of the product. Without proper planning and preparation, the project can easily fail by becoming aimless and not focused enough to leave an impact on the industry. This phase allows for the team members to showcase their ambition and even convince the funders of the project the best avenues for the project to go towards.
